This report presents the results of projections of the sentenced prison and community populations under the supervision of the Connecticut Department of Corrections through the year 2001. The projections, produced through simulation software, break the data into ten distinct offender groups, and six sentence levels within each group. Additionally, the model provides separate projections for female and male inmates.
