ANNOTATION: This document examines issues related to juveniles sent to criminal (adult) court versus juvenile court. The study contains data on: the frequency with which juveniles have been sent to criminal court; the juvenile conviction rates and sentences in criminal court; the dispositions of juvenile cases in juvenile court; and the conditions of confinement for juveniles incarcerated in adult correctional facilities.
