Looking at a Decade of Drug Courts
Publication year:
1998
| Cataloged on:
Oct. 31, 2006
ANNOTATION: The original goals for drug courts - reductions in recidivism and drug usage - are being achieved, and the positive outcomes go far beyond these goals. More babies are being born drug-free, hundreds of families have been reunified, and participants are getting more education and job training. This publication highlights the background of the drug court movement, the areas in which drug courts differ from traditional adjudication processes, and some accomplishments to date.
