Probation for Adult and Juvenile Offenders: Options for Improved Accountability
Publication year:
1998
| Cataloged on:
Oct. 31, 2006
ANNOTATION: As many as 60 percent of all adult probationers in California go unsupervised or are otherwise held accountable during their term of probation. This report suggests the use of a Neighborhood Accountability Boards (NAB) -oriented model, day reporting centers, early release programs, electronic monitoring, house arrest, and intensive supervision for high-risk probationers as alternative sanctions promoting higher accountability for probationers.
