Publication year:
1998
| Cataloged on:

ANNOTATION: Almost half of the men (42-47%) reassaulted their initial or new partners sometime during this 30-month follow-up. Most of the new assaults occurred within the first six months of program intake. The vast majority of men did not reassault their partners between 15 and 30 months after program intake. Those who drop out of the program are more likely to reassault. Men who get drunk, have antisocial tendencies, or evidence of severe psychological problems also are more likely to reassault. 83% of the initial or new female partners felt "very safe" at the 30-month follow-up.
