ANNOTATION: Contained within the 1998 Code of Laws, Title 23 "Law Enforcement and Public Safety" covers those procedures applicable to South Carolina's law enforcement organizations. Section 23-6-405 describes how a "governmental entity" is reimbursed for mandatory training of a law enforcement officer if the officer is subsequently hired by another governmental entity within two years of the training.
