ANNOTATION: The latest information on how to integrate drug testing (aka pretrial drug monitoring) is provided. Two new technological advances are described (expansion of hand-held devices and the sweat patch) as are information about fluid loading and specimen adulteration, constitutionality of imposing drug testing as a condition of pretrial release, and costs of pretrial drug testing.
