Anger Management Programming for Federal Male Inmates: An Effective Intervention
Publication year:
1999
| Cataloged on:
Oct. 31, 2006
ANNOTATION: While Anger Management is used frequently as an intervention for violent offenders, relatively few controlled studies have evaluated the effectiveness of this program with this population. This study intends to fill this void. Program completion for high-risk participants resulted in a 86% reduction in violent re-offending (25% recidivism rate for the control group compared to 3.6% rate for the Anger Management group).
