Reducing Recidivism Through a Seamless System of Care: Components of Effective Treatment, Supervision, and Transition Services in the Community

ANNOTATION: The reduction of recidivism and drug consumption among drug-using offenders through the use of a systemic case management model is examined. The overall retention rate in the treatment process was 85%. After being in the community for 9 months, only 12% of WIB HIDTA participants were arrested for new crimes.
