ANNOTATION: The results of a survey regarding staff responsiveness to offender client needs are presented. Contents include: introduction; development of the current study; personal/demographic characteristics of respondents; responses indicating probationers' attitudes and perceptions of probation in Walker County; and summary. A few of the findings show that: 89% of those individuals who responded felt that their probation officer helped them to succeed on probation; and 92.9% believe that they have a good relationship with their probation officer.
