ANNOTATION: While this peer support program is relatively new, staff and inmates are generally aware of its existence. Those who use the program are satisfied with the peer counseling they received. Report contents include: executive summary; introduction; evaluation method and survey instruments used; results according to Rosenberg's Self-esteem Scale, sociometric tests, the Correctional Environment Status Inventory, staff and inmate surveys, and staff and inmate interviews; and summary of findings and recommendations.
