ANNOTATION: Results from evaluations of two community corrections programs -- the ISP and PRC -- are presented along with recommendations for improving these programs' administrative controls. The following chapters are included in this report: introduction; general background; intensive supervision program; ISP procedures and documentation; the potential for ISP expansion; pre-release centers program; PRC program considerations; DOC administration of PRC contracts; other corrections-related issues; and the agency response. The report finds both programs to be beneficial components of the corrections system.
