Talking points regarding the following questions are included: Why is this an issue?; Why do these programs deal just with mothers and their children and not with both male and female parents? Why is there no programming for fathers?; Do women offenders deserve to get their kids back or to keep them? What kind of parents will they be?; Is this response soft on crime?; Do these programs really work?; and How much does/will this program cost?
