ANNOTATION: The "pragmatics of professional work [done] with youth who have committed sex offenses" are reviewed and discussed (p. v). Following an executive summary and introduction, this report examines: characteristics of juveniles who have committed sex offenses; types and classifications; clinical and risk assessments; treatment -- continuum of care models, treatment approaches, research on treatment efficacy, treatment setting, special populations, and training/qualifications of treatment providers; program evaluation; and concluding remarks.
