Risk and Need Assessment in Probation Services: An Evaluation

ANNOTATION: The effectiveness of two assessment instruments -- Level of Service Inventory-Revised (LSI-R) and Assessment Case Management and Evaluation (ACE) -- used by probation services in England and Wales is reported.
