ANNOTATION: Data from July 1, 1993 through June 30, 2000 are analyzed. Findings are organized according to demographics and outcomes across supervision/monitoring types, workload, outcomes, and absconders. A description of program types, glossary of terms, and an executive summary are included. Male offenders were more likely to be placed on GPS monitoring, with females placed on community control. Predominant offender types for each supervision/monitoring type are: drug offenders (35.6%) on community control; property offenders (47.7%) on radio frequency (RF); and violent offenders (69.9%) on GPS.
