ANNOTATION: The successful integration of the victim into the offender reentry process is examined. The following sections comprise this report: setting the stage for addressing victim needs and issues in offender reentry; strategies for involving community members and victims in reentry partnerships; victims' rights in the reentry process -- victim notification, victim protection, defining victim impact, and victim restitution; promising practices; and some final thoughts. A collection of additional resources helpful in promoting the involvement of victims in a reentry partnership is also included.
