ANNOTATION: The Criminal Justice Information System (CJIS) is comprised of two parts -- the Computerized Criminal History (CCH) system and the Corrections Tracking System (CTS). An overview of CJIS operations, criminal history records, goals of system enhancements, system improvements due to previous evaluations, and proposed main strategies for a future audit are presented.
