ANNOTATION: The ability of restorative justice programs to meet the needs of victims is explored. This literature review contains the following sections: executive summary; introduction; victims in general; victims participating in restorative justice programs (e.g., diversion, court-based programs, and post-sentencing programs); specific groups of victims (e.g., violent crimes, domestic violence, and sexual assault); and conclusions and recommendations.
