ANNOTATION: A set of three fact sheets comprise this collection. Topics addressed include: ex-offender protection from employment discrimination based upon Title VII of the Civil Rights Act; permanent ineligibility of convicted drug felons for receipt of federal welfare benefits (TANF) and food stamps; ineligibility of violators of parole or probation conditions for TANF, food stamps, Supplemental Security Income (SSI), and public housing; and denial of federally assisted housing provided by public housing agencies and Section 8 providers to certain individuals.
