ANNOTATION: A summary of lessons learned from early recipients of CLEFS program grants is provided. This report has four sections: introduction; gathering of information -- survey information and site visits; the future of CLEFS programs; and conclusion. "One of the greatest accomplishments of the CLEFS Program is that it has allowed for the conversion of family support in law enforcement and corrections to happen on a national level" (p. 36).
