ANNOTATION: Evaluation results regarding the Intensive Treatment Program (ITP) which "entails comprehensive women-centre of treatment to provide inmates with the skills to assist in self-awareness and self-empowerment and to assume responsibility for their behavior in order to begin to make healthy choices" are provided (p. iv). The following sections comprise this report: executive summary; introduction; method; results; and conclusions. Overall, the ITP appears to be effective in helping its participants.
