ANNOTATION: Recidivism as "measured as any arrest for a serious offense resulting in the filing of a charge" is reported on a national level for drug court graduates (p. 1). Sections of this report are: executive summary; project overview; report structure; theoretical framework; methodology; results according to recidivism rates by court size, by number of drug courts, probability of a re-arrest in first and second years after graduation, and estimates of individual and court effects on the likelihood of any arrest; limitations; and further analysis. Appendixes provide survey materials, drug courts participating in study; and offenses excluded from the FBI Criminal History File used in the study.
