ANNOTATION: The accuracy of the Megan's Law database for registered sex offenders is examined. Chapter titles reflect this reports primary observations: the database contains some inaccurate and incomplete information about convicted sex offenders; and although it has began a process to improve the database's information, sex offender data is still not adequately reviewed. Recommendations and responses to the audit are also provided.
