ANNOTATION: An evaluation of a specialized cognitive behavioral learning and incentive program for Close Management (CM) inmates (who have been confined apart from the general population) to progress back into the general population is supplied. Sections of this report are: executive summary; introduction; variables examined and comparison groups; results and analysis; and recommendations. The RPC group spent on average 60 fewer days in CM with twice as many inmates released to the open population than the comparison group.
