ANNOTATION: Performance-based standards for law enforcement training administration are presented. Performance-based practices include: agency staff demonstrate competency in their assigned duties; staff and instructors are professional, ethical, and accountable; instructors demonstrate competency in their assigned duties; staff, instructors, and students are protected from injury and harm when they are involved with training activities; staff, students, and instructors are treated fairly; and training is delivered efficiently and responsively. An outcomes measures chart showing the type of data and information that should be analyzed to evaluate the outcomes associated with each performance condition is also provided (p. 33).
