ANNOTATION: Access to an article about Larimer County's Alternative Sentencing Unit can be found at this website. This program has two "shifts" or "workenders" -- 8 a.m. Tuesday to 5 p.m. (4 p.m. if they don't get in trouble) Thursday or 8 a.m. Saturday to 4:15 p.m. Sunday. Inmates spend the days on work crews to various non-profit groups or county-run facilities. Community service hours are simultaneously earned.
