ANNOTATION: The displacement effects of eight Alternative-To-Incarceration (ATI) programs are examined. Sections within the report are: introduction; misdemeanor cases -- description of sample, methodology, and results of analysis; felony cases -- description of sample, methodology, and results of analysis; and summary and conclusions. "The ATI programs included in this research were quite effective in displacing sentence time for participants in the study sample who completed the programs successfully" (p. 9).
