ANNOTATION: One-year reconviction rates for youth, aged 10-17 years old, are analyzed. This report is comprised of the following parts: executive summary; introduction; results according to overall reconviction rates and reconvictions by sex, age, offense, disposal, or offending history; 1997 performance and reconviction; conclusion; methodological annex; and an appendix of additional tables. The actual reconviction rate overall was 36.9% in 2003. This rate is a statistically significant reduction of 2.4% from the reconviction rate of 2000.
