Controlling Repeat DWI Offenders with Staggered Sentencing
Publication year:
2003
| Cataloged on:
Oct. 31, 2006
ANNOTATION: The staggered sentencing model, a strategy for reducing repeat DWI offenders' recidivism, is explained. In this model, incarceration is segmented, and the possibility of forgiveness of future segments provides an incentive for good behavior on the part of the offender.
