ANNOTATION: The economic benefits of "evidence-based" treatment for individuals with mental health, alcohol, and drug disorders are determined. Sections comprising this report are: summary of findings; background; the basic questions for this study; legislative study language; research methods; findings; next research steps; and technical appendixes. This study shows that evidence-based treatment works and that potential savings are substantial.
