ANNOTATION: The Restorative Prison Project located in England is described. Sections of this report are: the idea and the four pillars; anatomy of a project; interventions that lead to change -- elements, people, ownership and embedding, developing a coherent idea, and making the idea visible; and policy implications. Interviews of prisoners, corrections staff, and community members revealed "substantially" positive opinions about the project.
