ANNOTATION: What can possibly happen to DWI courts during the next few years is predicted. In the future, DWI courts will: need to stabilize funding for continued growth; evolve from Drug Courts; will take root in different states; be effective by possessing ; stable case volume; not be for violent offenders; need to report recidivism rates; and reduce costs by using technology-based monitoring.
