Estimating Risk of Dropout and Expulsion from Correctional Programs
Publication year:
2006
| Cataloged on:
Jan. 25, 2007
ANNOTATION: Predictors of program dropout or expulsion are determined in order to develop a tool that identifies those offenders that are at risk of program dropout and or expulsion. Sections of this report in addition to an executive summary are: introduction; method; results for non-aboriginal and aboriginal male offenders; and discussion. The Dropout Risk Screen (DRS) for non-Aboriginal offenders has a statistically significant degree of accuracy, while the Aboriginal Dropout Risk Screen (ADRS) performed very poorly. The ADRS is not suitable for use in the field yet.
