ANNOTATION: The ethnicity of juvenile offenders incarcerated in Illinois youth centers is investigated. Sections of this bulletin are: admissions to Juvenile Division; total admissions; court commitments; race of juvenile court commitments; court commitments by race and offense type; disproportionate minority confinement -- black youth are 427% more likely to be committed than white youth; and conclusion.
