ANNOTATION: Issues related to housing for released prisoners reentering the District of Columbia are discussed. This report has three chapters: reentry -- the national picture; prisoner reentry in D.C. -- policy context, current reentry strategies, who is returning home and where they go, and the intersection of reentry and housing; and issues and barriers facing returning prisoners -- from the perspective of the service providers; and conclusion.
