Sex Offender Recidivism in Minnesota

Publication year: 2007 | Cataloged on: Jun. 04, 2007
ANNOTATION: The factors associated with the recidivism of sex offenders in Minnesota are determined. Sections after an executive summary include: introduction; sex offender recidivism -- a review of the literature; data and methods; results according to sexual recidivism, non-sexual recidivism, and general recidivism; and conclusion. "The reduction in sexual recidivism since 1990 is likely due, in part, to the longer and more intense post-release supervision of sex offenders" (p. 3).
