ANNOTATION: This study "identif[ies] the dynamic risk factors for sexual offenders on community supervision . . . [and] present[s] a method by which static, stable and acute factors can be combined into an overall evaluation of risk" (p. 1) Sections following an executive summary include: introduction; method; measures; procedure; results -- stable variables, combining stable variables, analysis of stable change, and acute variables; and discussion and recommendations. It is suggested that the revised versions of Stable-2007 and Acute-2007 be used for risk assessment of sex offenders.
