ANNOTATION: The "validity of an enhanced case management approach to offender needs identification and analysis in community corrections" is examined (p. 4). Five sections follow an executive summary: introduction; present study; method; and results for characteristics of the release sample, male releases, and female releases; and discussion. Results from this pilot study confirm the validity of the "Case Needs Identification and Analysis" tool, which is included as an appendix.
