ANNOTATION: The use of the Posttraumatic Stress Disorder Residential Treatment Curriculum (PTSD RTC) by female juvenile offenders is assessed. Sections following an executive summary include: project description; scope and methodology; detailed findings and analysis for outcomes-related findings (PTSD symptoms, anti-social attitudes and thinking, and future orientation, self-esteem, and locus of control) and process-related findings; and recommendations and conclusions. The "PTSD RTC is a well-developed guide for treating PTSD in female juvenile offenders that includes many practices that are supported by research" (p. 6).
