Implementation and Short-Term Impact Evaluation of the Lake County Adult Probation Department's Women's Specialized Services Program. Final report
Publication year:

ANNOTATION: Both the implementation and short-term impact of a specialized services program for women probationers in Lake County (IL) are assessed. Eight chapters follow an executive summary: introduction; evaluation design; program development; program operation; the nature and quality of psycho-educational trauma counseling; community based agencies -- perception of the program and services; impact evaluation of the women's specialized services program; and long-term impact evaluation. While there has been no reduction in recidivism noted yet, the intermediate goal of increasing the total number of referrals to services shows promise.
