ANNOTATION: Results from an examination of the employment practices of the Minnesota Department of Corrections related to African American staff are presented. Sections of this report include: executive summary; introduction; recruitment; hiring; and complete list of recommendations/supporting strategies. The Task Force "has concluded that the administration of policies and selection processes has been flawed" when applied to African American employees (p. 1).
