Publication year:
2007
| Cataloged on:
Sep. 19, 2008
ANNOTATION: The rearrest rates of sex offenders three years after release from Delaware's prison system are determined. The following sections comprise this report: introduction; sex offenders released from prison -- demographics, sentence length and time served, and criminal history; and recidivism -- overall recidivism, recidivism by demographic group, recidivism by sentence groups, and comparisons to other offenders released in Delaware. "Overall, offenders whose victims were children were less likely than those with adult victims to be rearrested, reconvicted, or readmitted to custody within three years" (p. 12).
