ANNOTATION: The use of the CPAI (Correctional Program Assessment Inventory) to evaluate the Forensic Reentry Development Program (FRED) is related. FRED "is a program designed to address the reentry challenges of mentally ill and/or mentally retarded female inmates with co-occurring substance abuse disorders" (p. 2). Sections of this report include: program summary; procedures; norm information; program implementation; client pre-service assessment; program characteristics; staff characteristics; evaluation; other; and overall program rating of 46.4% or unsatisfactory.
