ANNOTATION: The "triaging" of juvenile offenders, deciding who can be given a simplified assessment for potential re-offending, is discussed. Sections of this bulletin include: introduction; past research; the present study; method; results for sample description, relationships with re-offending, and variable with independent effect on risk of re-offending; and discussion. The authors conclude that "reliable predictions can be made using information about school attendance/performance and past contact with the criminal justice system" (p. 1).
