The Impact of Incarceration on Young Offenders
Publication year:

| Cataloged on:
Jul. 23, 2009
ANNOTATION: The recommitment of young offenders in California is examined. Chapters following an abstract and introduction are: theory and literature review; site description; methods; data analysis; and discussion and conclusion. It appears that "criminal court commitments housed in juvenile facilities have the lowest rate of recommitment" compared to juvenile court commitments housed in juvenile facilities or criminal court commitments in adult prisons (p. xvi).
