ANNOTATION: Due to changes in the inmate population, the Security Reclassification Scale for Women (SRSW)was revalidated. Sections of this report include: executive summary; introduction; method; results according to the sample, SRSW descriptive information, inconsistencies in security reclassification decisions, face validity, reliability, convergent validity, predictive validity, impacts of the SRSW, and appropriateness of security reclassification decisions; and discussion. SRSW “was determined to reliably measure what it purports to measure, as well as to differentiate women according to institutional adjustment and risk” (p. iv).
