ANNOTATION: The sharing of information between criminal justice and mental health is discussed. This guide is divided into two parts: practitioner analysis—behavioral health care, law enforcement, courts, jails and prisons, community corrections (probation and parole), business associates and qualified service organizations, and individual right of access to own records; and working with privacy laws—privacy law penalties and information-sharing tools.
