Norval Project Literature Reviews

One way of consolidating top thinking from a variety of disciplines is to analyze its literatures. Literature analyses are in process for the topics of Corrections Workforce Transformation and Safely Reducing the Corrections Population. Links to a searchable online database containing summaries of the most seminal and best researched articles from these analyses will be posted here by June, 2009.

To provide an initial foundation for the Norval Morris Project, literature analyses were conducted for the following topics:

Over 1200 articles were reviewed through search engines, databases, and communication with field experts. Of these articles, 350 were reviewed more closely, with more than 100 receiving a thorough review.
