SUPERVISOR-LEVEL PROFILE

The supervisor is responsible for the effective delivery of services to staff and/or clients.

Responsible for:

  • Ensuring agency policies, procedures, standards, and contracts are implemented and support the agency vision and mission
  • Implementing procedures to assure alignment of the unit or program with agency policy and best practices
  • Building an organizational culture within the unit or program that supports desired outcomes
  • Ensuring resources are expended wisely and as prescribed by policy and procedure
  • Interacting with the External Environment
  • Ensuring staff understand and support agency public policy agenda
  • Providing supervison to direct reports and model best supervision practices
